Abstract
Advancements and increased affordability of innovative user-testing environments and technologies have broadened the scope of consumer research approaches and novel testing methods to study food-allied topics. The Perceptual Experience Lab (PEL) is an immersive, multi-sensory digital theatre, used to stage simulated task environments (STE) for user-testing praxis, food safety training and consumer behaviour research.
