Revamping curriculum to account for business education and SDGs

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

Despite 21st century being marked by a global call for action (DESA, 2023) on sustainability, there remains a disconnect between businesses, institutions, and global agencies on implementing the sustainability agenda. Whilst higher education providers and their related bodies continue to propagate, extend and incorporate Education for SDG agenda in their domain, the loop remains open/weak without continuous input from businesses and regulatory bodies. It is undoubtedly more significant than ever that a careful planning and conscious interventions are designed and implemented in preparing our local and global graduates to enable them to persistently advocate for sustainability agenda on decision tables, at all levels and in a range of sectors.
