Abstract

In summary, it has been a pleasure to work collectively as an editorial team to bring you this text. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the contributing authors on this endeavour and our collaborative interactions have certainly helped us to appraise and question our understanding of reflective practice. We believe that the diversity of perspectives, the level of critical insight, and the varied directions taken in the ensuing chapters will provoke interest, further understanding, and raise debate about education, training, and professional practice in the SES and allied disciplines and the position of reflective practice within these areas. If this is the case, and in recognition of our intention to grow the community of reflective practitioners in the SES, we invite you to work with us, not only through the preceding chapters by engaging in your own reflection and sense making on what the discussions mean for you, but also by contributing to future research and debate - please feel free to get in touch.
