Abstract

This study underscores the critical role of a people-centred strategy in implementing the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI®) framework, specifically through the introduction of the POS-CMMI® model tailored for IT companies in the UAE. By incorporating Perceived Organizational Support (POS) data, the research demonstrates the positive impact of POS on the successful adoption and optimization of CMMI®, enhancing various organizational dimensions such as cost efficiency, productivity, quality, process optimization, and customer experience. The proposed model aims to bridge the gap between human resource practices and technical process maturity models, providing a comprehensive framework for improving organizational performance in IT outsourcing environments.
