Abstract

This paper is to present a RAE funded pilot project that investigated the academic and students' first experience on audio feedback and online text feedback for the coursework in the module, Economies, Markets and Strategic Decisions. A short interview with the academic was carried out and an online questionnaire was distributed to the students after the assessment and feedback. The experiences of both the academic and students, especially the comparison of the online text feedback (Turnitin GradeMark) that the academic has used for a year against the audio feedback, in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, has been gathered and discussed.
