Abstract

In this chapter Galperin discusses the role of skills in the development of new forms of behaviour. He starts by considering the concept that suggests that a skill is a decisive factor in the development of new forms of behaviour. Here, he defines skill as a way of developing new physiological movements which initiates a new type of behaviour.
