Abstract

“Frontline heroes” is a term that has been applied to frontline workers to recognize the sacrifice and risks faced by those in these roles. Frontline heroes, by virtue of their occupational role, offer incident response or serve to support continued societal functioning, particularly during a crisis, in ways that go “above and beyond” what is typically required of most occupations and workers.
