This book contains a directory of intentional communities in the UK today. A thriving scene of kaleidoscopic proportions. Some are modern, new, high spec and purpose built by the community themselves; some are indeed big old mansion houses and farms in beautiful locations; many are houses in cities and towns with shared ownership (you may walk past a few yourself today); and some are land based, off grid and flying below the radar. They’re all ‘intentional community’.
