Abstract

WiMAX and LTE are the telecommunication technology standards. WiMAX and LTE both offer high data rate. Both are used to provide VOIP, online gaming, video conferencing, streaming media services to the users. In this paper we have done numerical analysis of WiMAX and LTE network in the form of maximum number of users supportable and minimum demand to all the users in a particular area based on different services provided by these networks and types of users. In this analysis we have found the actual bandwidth to transfer the data after reducing the overhead related to physical layer, MAC layer. In this paper analysis with matlab shows that LTE network performs better as compare to WiMAX network.
