Abstract

Gender disparities are significant differences in various aspects of life between men and women, reflecting inequalities in rights, opportunities, and status. This disparity can arise in various fields, such as economics, education, health, and politics. This research focuses on gender disparities in education. Gender disparities in education will have an impact on knowledge, skills, and job opportunities, so they need to be prioritized. The problem with this research statement is that women often have less access to education services, and no system guarantees gender equality for women in the education domain. Blockchain can help create a system that guarantees gender equality in education. Smart contracts, which are an important part of the blockchain, can store agreements on gender equality for women, especially for education. Peer-topeer validation from the blockchain guarantees transparency in the implementation of gender equality for women. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to observe the phenomenon of gender disparities for women, especially in education. Literature reviews are also used to study the concept of blockchain technology as a solution to the problem of gender disparities. The research output is a proposed model with data block tables, activity diagrams, user interface design, and simulation with the Hyperledger framework
