Abstract
This paper first highlights common evaluation techniques used in wireless ad hoc networks. Specifically, it focuses on the discrete-event simulations. The paper further reviews methods that are used during the analysis of the generated results from discrete-event simulations. Steady-state detection, simulation time, and confidence intervals are considered.
