Abstract

This report presents the findings from a multi-year examination of the Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) ‘Gloucester City Safe’. This BCRP was designed to tackle crime, disorder and antisocial in Gloucester, Stroud and the surrounding areas. Its 140 business members work in partnership with the Police, Local Authorities and other stakeholders to tackle issues such as shoplifting, theft, anti-social behaviour, alcohol related disorder, street drinking and begging through the application of a two-tiered sanction-based exclusion system.
