Abstract

This study focuses on one of the predetermined themes within the broader DMan research project. It examines role models' role in academia and their influence on the career journey of female professors within the UK higher education (HE) sector. The primary aim of the current study is to critically analyse role models' impact on female professors' career journeys, offering a deeper understanding of their importance in facilitating career advancement within the UK HE context
