Research interests

I am a Senior Lecturer in Additional Learning Needs in the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy.  I am also Programme Director for the National MA Education and National EdD. My research explores wellbeing, bilingualism, inclusive education and educational transitions. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to national research projects shaping educational practice in Wales. I supervise doctoral research and has supported four successful completions to date. My work aims to bridge theory and practice, promoting evidence-informed approaches that enhance equity and learner voice in education.
