Research interests
Dr Mickeal Milocco Borlini is a Lecturer in Architecture at Cardiff School of Art and Design in Cardiff, Wales (UK). Before joining Cardiff Metropolitan University, Mickeal was a PostDoc researcher at Universitá degli Studi di Udine (Italy) where he investigated innovative methodologies and solutions for a more inclusive urban/interior living. He holds a PhD in Architecture: Theory and Design from the Sapienza University of Rome and a Master's Degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano. He also taught as a Teaching Fellow at Politecnico di Milano and Sapienza University of Rome on different studio-based modules. His research and cultural background inform his teaching activity, including the history and theory of architecture and inclusive design, space/place concepts, and composition of architecture and design for all.
