Research interests
I am a doctoral researcher in the field of applied psychology, researching interaction-based motivation in adult Welsh learners in virtual and face-to-face classrooms.
My research interests include minority language acquisition, language learning motivation, human interaction and digital/virtual communication. I am particularly interested in psycholinguistics, the role techology plays in aiding and disrupting human communication and the influence this has on our attitudes and the way we behave.
Additionally, I am a research assistant on a project developing literacy tests for Welsh medium schools in order to improve provision for dyslexia screening. I am also an associate tutor in applied psychology.
