Organisation profile

The Teacher Education Research group at Cardiff Metropolitan University is based at the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy. It is a cross school dynamic and collaborative community dedicated to advancing research in the field of teacher education nationally and internationally. Within the broader landscape of education research, the group serves as a bridge to national policies, school-level initiatives and the university’s research agenda.  Led by Dr Anna Bryant and Dr Thomas Breeze, the group provides a safe space for collaborating on teacher education research, workshops, seminars and a termly reading group. The research group is made up of academics, doctoral candidates and teacher education researchers across the University and Partnership Schools. The group has a strong commitment to inter-disciplinary research both within Cardiff Metropolitan University and through engagement with external national and international partners.
