The Net Zero and Sustainability research group is a vibrant, interdisciplinary community based within the School of Technologies at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Bringing together expertise from across the school and wider university, as well as external collaborators, the group tackles some of the most pressing challenges related to climate change, decarbonisation, and sustainability.
Our mission is to drive forward impactful research and innovation that supports Wales and the UK in achieving their ambitious Net Zero targets. We work at the intersection of science, engineering, data, and policy for developing practical, scalable solutions that help reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable practices across industries and communities.
By combining diverse perspectives and skillsets, the group contributes to the creation of smarter, more sustainable systems that align with both local and global environmental goals.
