EUREKA Robotics Centre is profiled by the UK government as one of the 11 specialist centres in the UK to access cutting-edge Social Robotics facilities (i.e. over 120 robots) and long-term healthcare service robotics R&D. We are the member of prominent UK-RAS and Network Committee, leader in PIE for Women programme through educational Robotics STEM workshops, impacting over 30,000 women and girls. We have contributed to the National Policies, Good Practices and Guides of Humanoid Robotics:
As one of the flagship research clusters at the Cardiff School of Technologies, EUREKA Robotics Centre based in Wales but serves the global stakeholders in Malaysia, Europe, Pakistan, Indonesia, China and India and has developed Wales 7 Tokku Zones. EUREKA stands for Ethical tokkU zone with Robotics driving Eureka Knowledge Accelerator with the meaning of “exclamation of satisfaction on discovering something, solving a problem, finding a solution with fun and engaging experience in safe and ethical experimental zones”.
