Organisation profile

Launched in 2018, the Cardiff School of Technologies offers cutting-edge research opportunities in technology.  We work closely with the tech industry to carefully design courses that are industry-relevant, and career focused and offer our students opportunities to gain work experience, continue their research, or study with our international partners.

Research and innovation activities at Cardiff School of Technologies are organised around five research centres; the Centre for Industry 4.0 and Blockchain Research (CI4BCR); Creative Computing Research Centre (CCRC); Cybersecurity and Information Networks Centre (CINC) and the EUREKA Robotics Centre and two research groups; the BioEngineering Research Group and NetZero and Sustainability Research Group. These centres and groups consist of highly active research and innovation teams investigating in all key areas of computer science and engineering including robotics, cyber security, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and data science.
