The overarching aim of the Cardiff School of Management is to be a first class provider of business and management education which is rooted in research and serves the needs of the business community regionally, nationally (both Wales and UK) and internationally, contributing to regional regeneration and economic growth through its teaching, enterprise work and applied research.
In the latest Research Excellence Framework 2021, 100% of Cardiff School of Management’s research impact was recognised as being internationally excellent, demonstrating the currency and positive effect of our engagement with business, government and society.
Research activities at the School are organised into a number of themes with research centres taking the lead in driving this research activity forward. Much of our research is multidisciplinary often carried out with researchers from other Schools within the University and, through a range of international knowledge networks developed by our academic staff.
If you require further information about research in CSM, contact the Associate Dean for Research Prof Claire Haven-Tang.
