Description

I was awarded the Learned Society of Wales 'Workshop Grant' fund. The funding was used to organise, deliver and contribute to a collaborative research project on Wrexham AFC with colleagues in Cardiff Metropolitan University and Wrexham University. The event was held at Wrexham University in April 2025 and was used to springboard a research network and develop a research design for the Wrexham AFC project. From the workshop stemmed the group's first data collection phase; a survey that is being distributed online and on the ground at Wrexham AFC. The group meet regularly on Teams and will be running phase two of the research data collection and analysis in May 2026.
