Metropolitan Disorders In psychiatry, paranoia is an acute or generalized psycho- sis with variable causes determined by the context. In the urban context, it manifests itself through the perpetual conflict between local and general dynamics and identities, defined by Z. Baumann as a symptom of “urban restlessness”. The text intends to diagnose the urban space with a critical method, analyzing the disturbances that characterize it and the be- behaviours that determine the cause, interpolating them with some emblematic examples
